Stake Conference

Brothers and Sisters,

The Grantsville Utah Stake has been assigned by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf to hold stake conference on September 19th and 20th, 2026. President Ryan S Orgill will preside at this conference. The theme for this stake conference is

"Alive in Christ".

The Combined Leadership Session will be held at the Stake Center on Saturday, September 19th at 4:00 p.m. Those that should attend this session include members of the Stake and Ward Councils, including their full presidencies.

The Evening Session will be held at the Stake Center on Saturday, September 19th at 7:00 p.m. Those that should attend this session include all members ages 18 and older. Please invite your friends, neighbors, and ministering families to attend this session with you.

The General Session will be held on Sunday, September 20th at 10:00 a.m. All members, investigators, and visitors are invited to attend at the stake center. The conference will also be broadcast to the Church Street Building as a secondary option for those who wish to attend there. A link for the live stream will be made available for those unable to attend in person.

• Stake Conference will be held September 19th & 20th and sessions will be held as follows.

  • September 19th - Evening Adult Session at 7:00 PM

  • September 20th - Morning Leadership Meeting at 7:00 AM

  • September 20th - General Session at 10:00 AM

  • Willow Creek Ward has been invited to attend in the Stake Center. There will be no broadcast in the Shelley Lane building. There will be a broadcast in the Church Street building.

  • Stake Choir practice for the Stake Conference has started, practices will be on Sundays at 4:00 PM at the Stake Center.

• Ward Choir at the Dieterings today at 11:20.

• There is a Utah Area Single Adult Devotional with Elder and Sister Bednar on September 13th at 7:00 PM. YSA ages 17-35 are invited to attend in person at the BYU Marriott Center or participate online.

• Youth Musical Fireside - Vocal Point  - September 27th at 6:00 PM, 550 Durfee Street (Stake Center).

• Ward Communication Specialist Training - September 24th at 7:00 PM.

• Ward Carnival and Chili Cookoff - October 17th from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Stake Center.

• Ward Christmas Party December 12th, Morning Breakfast.

• 2027 Stake Youth Pioneer Trek - May 26th-28th.

• The church is accepting volunteers for the upcoming Salt Lake Temple Open house. Please see the church website or click on the link below for more information.
